Since 1917 Honor Bank has been serving the people and communities of northern Michigan. Our purpose now, as it was then, is to serve friends and neighbors—giving them an opportunity to bank with people they know and trust. While much has changed since those early days, the commitment to provide independent banking services to strengthen our communities has remained the same.
Our first bank branch opened in the Village of Benzonia in 1983 and other offices followed as our communities have grown.

Because all of our bankers are local, and most grew up here, we’re truly invested in providing local citizens with local banking services and support. We’ve worked hard to build our reputation as a trustworthy and ethical bank and we’re focused on providing our customers with the very best service around.
If you’re not yet a customer at Honor Bank, we look forward to meeting you. Our banking relationships are formed based on mutual respect and confidence. At Honor Bank we guarantee that you can trust in us.
